We are very happy to introduce a new fundraiser for the Michigan District. It is an organization called LegalShield, which offers legal services, and Identity theft protection.
The Michigan District will receive 4% of the revenue that is generated thru this website. 2% will go to the District, and the remaining 2% will be split evenly between the chapters. This finders fee will apply every year.
Todd Goodwin of Ohio Chapter X2 presented Legal shield to the Ohio District team in November of 2014. Many questions were asked and the decision was made to proceed. So the Ohio District has already had this in place for a few months.
Todd then did two presentations about the LegalShield product at Michigan's Wingless Weekend in March of 2015. The presentations showed some of the many ways that identity thieves can get your personal information.
Everyone is aware of the ongoing and constantly increasing problems that come with Identity theft. So you must be proactive and protect yourself. LegalShield also protects Debit Cards, and if your identity is compromised LegalShield will help you recover instead just telling you about it and walking away.
